With the dynamic development of the Riga Central Business District, in which Origo Shopping Centre plays a strategically important role, it continues to consistently expand its offering. In line with the growing consumer demand for a high-quality and diverse range of products, Origo Shopping Centre continues to develop its tenant portfolio, adding several new shops and significantly expanding its food court.
“Origo is a sustainable shopping, service and dining destination in the heart of the city. Following market trends and changes in visitors’ needs, Origo continues to develop its offering, providing a diverse range of shops, popular services and extensive dining options for both everyday needs and leisure activities. Tenants are also actively adapting – modernizing their premises, introducing new concepts and expanding their product range, thus creating a modern and diverse shopping environment. This synergy strengthens the competitiveness and position of Origo Shopping Centre as a modern urban centre in the Riga Central Business District”, says Evija Majevska, Commercial Director of Linstow Baltic and Origo Multifunctional Centre.
With an investment of €200,000, a new concept store called LIDO AS[H]AIS has opened in Origo Shopping Centre, offering an innovative approach to the catering segment. The new format combines traditional LIDO values and popular dishes with a modern street food concept, adapting to current consumer expectations and lifestyle trends. The LIDO street food menu AS[H]AIS was developed over two years, carefully experimenting with flavour combinations and concept development. This new concept offers Origo’s visitors a number of advantages – the opportunity to enjoy a high-quality, varied meal quickly and conveniently in a dynamic and attractive environment that is suitable for both busy everyday lunches and leisurely meals.
The family bakery Bazaar, which combines high-quality taste and a creative approach to pastry making, will also soon be available at Origo. The offering includes puff pastry products and original interpretations of sheet cake. Origo is the first shopping centre where this concept bakery will open.
Continuing to expand its gastronomic offering and responding to demand for fresh, high-quality products, Origo Shopping Centre has also opened a store belonging to Forevers, Latvia’s leading specialty meat store chain. Visitors can shop from a wide range of popular meat products delivered directly from the producer, ensuring an optimal price-quality ratio. The presence of the Forevers store complements the convenience of the shopping centre, providing customers with the opportunity to quickly and conveniently purchase fresh products in the heart of the city every day.
Complementing the fashion and accessories segment, Origo Shopping Centre has welcomed LOON, a store specializing in modern jewellery and tasteful accessories. The range includes trendy jewellery for young people and women, as well as modern sunglasses and optical glasses. The assortment places special emphasis on design diversity, affordability and individual style, giving customers the opportunity to choose expressive items for both everyday needs and special occasions.
Origo Shopping Centre continues to develop a multifunctional environment that combines a wide range of shops, services and dining options in one place, meeting the daily needs and lifestyle choices of both Riga residents and visitors to the city.
The development of the shopping centre will continue in the autumn, when a modern Foodhall dining area will be opened, combining cuisines from eight different countries. The Foodhall concept will be developed in line with changing consumer trends, providing a diverse range of dining options and a high level of convenience. This will be further proof that Origo Shopping Centre is becoming an important gastronomic and mobility hub in the city centre. Origo Shopping Centre is easily accessible to everyone – it can be reached by public transport or by car, and it offers modern bicycle parking and electric car charging infrastructure. In recent months, in cooperation with mobility service provider Snabb, parking management has also been significantly improved, providing digital solutions, automated access and convenient payments via a mobile app.
