During the “Free eye examination”* service: We will check your vision and determine the best correction for your eyes within 20 minutes using modern equipment. We will assess your visual functions, such as accommodation reserves, as well as binocular and stereo vision quality. We will perform an eye examination using a biomicroscope to evaluate the condition of the anterior structures of the eye and the quality of the tear film. Through a narrow pupil, we will also perform an ophthalmoscopic examination to assess the appearance of the optic nerve and blood vessels. We will measure your eye pressure with a non-contact tonometer, which is important for assessing the risk of glaucoma. * The “Free eye examination” service is available for persons aged 16 and above, no more than once per year. If no glasses are ordered after the free eye examination, the optometrist will issue a certificate describing the eye condition.
